FSLH to Host Seminar on Weight Loss Surgery - Tuesday, July 26, 2011

The Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare (FSLH) bariatric team will host an informational program about weight loss surgery on Tuesday, July 26 at 6pm.

The event will take place in the Soggs Room at St. Luke’s Home, which is located on the St. Luke’s Campus at 1650 Champlin Avenue, New Hartford. The program is free and open to the public. Those interested in attending can call (315) 624-6354 to RSVP by Monday, July 25.

FSLH is a Center of Excellence for Bariatric Surgery and ranked #1 in New York for Overall Bariatric Surgery in 2011 by HealthGrades.

The findings are from HealthGrades 2011 Bariatric Surgery Trends in American
Hospitals report, which analyzed 193,518 bariatric surgery patient records from 2007 through 2009, including 468 hospitals in 19 states where data are publically available.
